Slacking and guiding works Wilhelminasluis

The last section parts of the braking works for the Wilhelminasluis in Andel have been produced. These slacking works were transported by pontoon from Heeg in November 2022.

In addition to braking systems, we also produced and supplied guiding systems for this project. The guides are covered with plastic and the slacking with hardwood. This ensures that a ship and the steel construction will sustain less damage in the event of a collision.

With the delivery of these section parts, the total slacking for the lock in Andel, North Brabant, is complete. All the constructions supplied together account for a total length of almost one kilometre. We thank DEME Group for this great collaboration!
